Dot NAME Domains

Set up in 2001, the Dot NAME universal top-level extension is the only one intended for personal web pages only. These domain names can include personal or fictitious names, nicknames and/or other titles people are popular by. At first, solely third-level registrations were possible, so if you desired to book john.doe.name, you had to do that under .doe.name. In 2004, however, the registration procedures were liberalized and 2nd-level registrations were also allowed. Already grabbed third-level domains remained active.

Through our company, you can obtain your dot NAME domain for an interval between 1 and 10 years. You will be able to update the WHOIS info, to park your domain, to set up Custom DNS records, etc. You can also move over an already purchased domain to our firm if you get its EPP transfer key from the present registrar and we will renew it after the transfer has been completed. There are no particular terms on who can get a .NAME domain name, but in order to keep the objective behind its creation alive, the dot NAME Registry organization may verify who the Registrant is and if there is no link between the owner and the actual domain, the registration could be challenged.
